Here at Color Shop, we are a family owned company. We believe in manufacturing a product that is hand-assembled and hand-finished in North America.
All Color Shop furnishings are made of North American solid birch. To protect the wood we use catalyzed finishcoatings, which are synthetic lacquers modified with nitrocellulose. This combination produces a finish that is highly resistant to marking and staining. Maintenance is easy - a damp cloth is all you need.
We've always considered wood as a a noble material, and the respect we feel for it is reflected in the final quality of all our products. Through all phases of production, we maintain a respect for nature and the many years that have gone into growing the wood we use. All cardboard packaging is made from recycled fibers and we distill and reuse all paint residues in our production.
